Once NYC's most notorious nightspot, Limelight - a still standing church on West 20th street, is back in action (pause for reaction.)
You won't find the usual ecstasy or cocaine brunch available to patrons of the early 90's...however, the new Limelight which opens in March of 2010 will be a gourmet market, apothecary, and candy store. A sneaker gallery will display the rarest kicks, and a music shop will open up shop to pay tribute to the club's significant yet shady past.
You don't need an I.D. or a hard drug to enjoy the new Limelight. Just a grocery list and an Amex.
